The Fairfield County Hounds offers events, clinics, and hunter paces throughout the year. Foxhunting activities — roading, cubbing and foxhunting — run from August-December. Guests encouraged and always welcome, whether seasoned riders or newcomers to foxhunting! The 2012 Opening Meet will mark the 88th hunting season of the Fairfield County Hounds. The roading/cubbing season begins the first week in August. Opening Day of the formal season is the first Saturday in October, when the spectacular colors of the New England autumn are on grand display. The hunt territory in Bridgewater consists of quintessential New England countryside: wide open pastures and cornfields bordered by rugged, verdant woodland and criss-crossed by babbling creeks and woodland paths.

The hunt territory in Bridgewater consists of quintessential New England countryside: wide open pastures and cornfields bordered by rugged, verdant woodland and criss-crossed by babbling creeks and woodland paths.
